The Fight Against Imperialist War

Imperialist war and militarism are shaking the consciousness of millions of workers and youth around the world. They hate US imperialism and want to see it dead and buried. From Ukraine, to Gaza, to Iran, these events are raising essential questions: how do we fight against imperialist war? Why is capitalism riddled with war? What is imperialism? What does socialism and communism have to do with the fight against war and militarism? What is the role of communists in this struggle?

This session will be a primer in these questions and more, while drawing on lessons from past wars and revolutionary movements. 

This discussion will be introduced by Nico Melton, a leading member of the RCA in Philadelphia.
