Coast to Coast Organizing for Class War 2024!
Revolutionary Communists of America

October 11, 2024

Since launching the Class War 2024 campaign, hundreds of communists have talked to thousands of workers all across the country. New York, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, Nashville, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Dallas, Boston, Albuquerque, San Diego, Providence, Bellingham, Phoenix, Tucson—you name it, the communists are out there! And the response? In the words of one comrade after canvassing, the communists are being welcomed with open arms!

The first battle in the Class War 2024 campaign was the Democratic National Convention. Inside: hypocrisy, corruption, and cynicism. Outside: a contingent of revolutionary communists organizing the working class! Not only did Fox News and Jimmy Dore interview us, but former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy himself stopped by to “discuss”—and we patiently explained why the international working class will soon put an end to the system he defends.

In Los Angeles, communists dropped the RCA banner over a freeway. Before they could say “Join the RCA!” the roads were full of supportive honks. Nearby workers shouted, “Yes, we need a revolution!” and asked to get organized. One woman exclaimed, “you, don’t even need to tell me, I’m completely on board!”

In the south, communists are showing what it really means to live in a “red state.” After speaking to interested (and surprised) workers at a local park in Nashville, a security guard stopped by to ask us to leave … only to take some pamphlets for themselves! In Dallas, coworkers are talking to us about how, “we’re overdue for a revolution.”

Communists in New York City agitate in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. When we ask workers,“Do you feel represented by the Democrats and Republicans?” the usual response is an incredulous look followed by, “Of course not!”

In Philadelphia, door knocking has introduced the RCA to workers who already hate the “parties owned by the billionaires.” Another student listened to our firm opposition to both parties and exclaimed, “this is what I’ve been trying to tell people!”

In Bellingham, Washington, communists “interrupted” a casual Friday night at a local bar with a political appeal for class war. Not only did a crowd form of interested listeners, but the bar owner himself bought a paper and said we are welcome back anytime!

A working-class mom in Boston asked the poignant question, “Why can’t we represent ourselves?” Tired of the Democrats’ betrayals, she went on, “These people have not lived what we suffer through every day. They aren’t dealing with the costs of rent, the schools breaking apart, and a lack of community spaces!” That’s right! That’s exactly what the RCA is—a party of, by, and for the working class.

The thirty thousand Boeing workers currently on strike are leading the most recent battle in the class war. You bet the communists have mobilized to support with food, bodies, and communist ideas. On the picket line, an apparently “conservative” worker in a MAGA hat approached us. Turns out, we agree on almost all issues! The Democrats are worthless, the bosses exploit us, and the politicians (of both parties) should be in jail. We explained we’re not just “Democrats’ plus.” He shook our hand and showed what we already know: that it’s not a culture war, but a class war. And workers of all stripes, no matter our “label” are united in this struggle. This is just another member of the “I don’t know if I’m a communist, yet” generation.

This type of broad instinct is proof that this party can be built in short order. Class War 2024 is about far more than just talking to workers. It’s about getting our class organized for battle. If that sounds like the right idea to you, then join the RCA!
