What Lenin and Trotsky Really Stood For—A Reply to Stalinist Slanders
For over a century, the Russian Revolution has been subjected to all manner of lies and slanders. The capitalists, reformists, and Stalinists have all obfuscated the real history of the revolution. The Stalinists, in particular, have sought to confuse the legacies of the two main leaders of the revolution, Vladimir Lenin and Leon Trotsky, falsely claiming that the two stood in political opposition. For today’s communist movement to succeed, we must study the actual history of these two towering figures. That is why the RCI is republishing Lenin and Trotsky – What They Really Stood For to defend the genuine ideas of Lenin and Trotsky against slanders and misconceptions.
