“Hell yeah! I hate capitalism! We need socialism!”
That’s what two teenagers shouted as I was putting up RCA recruitment stickers at my bus stop. “What will it take to get to socialism?” I asked. “I don’t know, but the Democrats and Republicans ain’t doing anything.”
They both expressed that Gen Z is the “sober generation” because “no one can afford anything.” They talked about the casino that’s being built in their neighborhood, enraged that the rsources aren’t being devoted to somethig socilally useful like affordable quality housing.
As the bus arrived, they asked for some communist stickers to help spread the word. When they saw the slogans, one of them exclaimed: “I hate Epstein! I hate ICE, too!”
