I’ve long been disillusioned with capitalism. Throughout the years, I’ve watched feckless politicians wage endless wars, using the most revolting violence to prop up their decaying empire. It is beyond clear, as our elected officials gleefully finance a genocide in Gaza, that we cannot look to them for any answers.
I’ve watched my friends and family struggle in an economy that works for the few who already have so much at the expense of the many who have increasingly less and less.
For 20 years, I’ve watched the inaction surrounding the climate crisis. Worse even than inaction, the ruling class is exacerbating it!
I protested during the Occupy and BLM movements. I saw that the capitalists don’t give a damn about protest—no matter how loud we scream, it’s business as usual. The only answer is for the working class to take control and dig us out of the grave the capitalists have dragged us into. After researching y’all for a few weeks, I can honestly say: you’re the party that really gets it. I would love to contribute however I can!
